| In May of 2003 I built a concertina with the intention of
sending it to concertina players across the United States. The goal
of the "Tour" was several fold. Along with the obvious marketing
angle, I had a very sincere interest in the opinions of players opinions
of my instrument, its sound, playability, tone etc. Additionally I
hoped to find a consensus on the desires of players all over the country.
The Concertina was on the road for about 8 months traveling between musicians on both coasts and in the Great Lakes region. Each player was asked to either enter in the log book or to email me with their comments good bad or otherwise.
